I did something!
Two of my (gazillion) short term goals are to get back to doing some creative work of my own (not just samples for the shop) and post them here. I've been doing the random post, but not ever about any creative work because I just don't do any. I'm as tired of hearing myself whine about this as I'm sure the rest of the world is tired of listening to it, but my shoulder HURTS. This recovery is long and painful, and the trip slowed me down. The arthritis in my thumb joints has recently gotten very LOUD, too - will ask the doc about that on my next shoulder visit.
I predict that the people who text all the time will suffer arthritis in their thumbs at a very young age. That is NOT why my thumbs hurt.
I digress. So, yesterday I played with setacolors. Tested sunprinting on silk with nothing but a lamp and it worked just fine. These were actually samples for the shop, but it was something more creative and fun. Also did some resist painting on silk on Friday night during the PJ party but seem to have lost my touch - not sure what I'm doing wrong. Anyway, since the camera isn't here I'll have to post photos later, but I can at least say - I DID SOMETHING!
